PTI delegation's invitation for a joint long march, Fazlur Rehman flatly refuses



A joint protest will be held up to the extent of the parliament, agreement to call an all-party conference on administrative units and new provinces

The long march will not be postponed, Mohsin Naqvi is in touch, cannot give details, Barrister Gauhar's conversation after the meeting

    Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gauhar Khan has said that in his meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, an agreement was reached on a joint opposition in the Senate and the National Assembly. According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman refused a joint long march. According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with PTI and FAD during which JUI has agreed with PTI on a joint action plan up to the extent of the parliament, but PTI has not been able to convince Maulana Fazlur Rehman to hold a joint protest outside the parliament. Speaking to the media after his meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the federal capital, Barrister Gauhar said that the opposition inside the parliament A joint strategy will be adopted and all political parties will be taken into confidence on important issues of a national nature. He said that talks have been held with Maulana Fazlur Rehman regarding the joint opposition, while an agreement had already been reached in the Senate and the National Assembly to form a joint opposition. Today, the first meeting regarding the joint opposition was held, which was welcome. The PTI Chairman said that it has been decided to take all parties into confidence on national issues, while an All Parties Conference (APC) will be convened on other important issues including the issue of provinces. A unanimous consultation will be held with the joint opposition platform on the issue of prisoners, including the assembly session. Barrister Gohar said that the future strategy will be decided from the united opposition platform and the meetings of the joint opposition will continue in the future as well. Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar says that he is in contact with Mohsin Naqvi and has never denied it. He will not reveal the details of his contact with Mohsin Naqvi. Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said that dialogue is the policy of the founding PTI. Imran Khan will decide with whom, when and on what conditions it should take place.
