Consideration is being given to lifting the ban on Gohar Khan, the winning model, and actress of the seventh season of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss, for allegedly violating the Coronavirus SOPs.
According to Indian media reports, the 60-day ban on Gohar Khan is being considered to be lifted today, after which the actress will be allowed to shoot.
In this regard, a meeting was held between the officials of the Federation of Western India Sign Employees (FWEC) in which it was decided that the ban on Gohar Khan would be lifted on March 30, ie today. No final decision has been made.
Talking to Indian media, the FWEC president said that Gohar Khan had sent him two apology letters, the first of which was sent at the beginning of the case while the second was sent recently.
"Since then, we have decided that we may allow the actress to shoot again as she has signed several web series, while her producer has asked FWEC officials to allow her to shoot," he said. Given that failure to do so will result in financial loss for their team.
It may be recalled that the Burhan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had recently registered a case against Gohar Khan for going for shooting despite testing positive for the coronavirus.
On the other hand, Gohar Khan's team had shared the report of the coronavirus test of the actress in response to the FIR registered against her. According to the report, the test results of the actress were negative.
Gohar Khan was banned for 60 days despite a negative coronavirus report.
The FWEC had said in its notice that Gohar Khan was banned for the next two months for violating Corona SOPs, meaning that the actress would not do any shooting during that period.
