Now the world will learn a lesson from Iran

Will Washington no longer be the world capital? The center of power will not be across the Atlantic Ocean, but will shift to the area where it was ten thousand years ago, having previously traveled from here and moved 10 thousand miles away.

This new world has tried that now wars will not be around it, but across the sea in Europe, in the densely populated cities of Asia or in the deserts of Africa. We, the people of the East and the residents of Asia, should be grateful to US President Donald Trump and his fanatical Defense Minister that global hegemony is leaving the White House due to their long-winded words. Our greatest gratitude is to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who had he not taken the US President hostage, the center of power would not have crossed the seven seas so quickly, passing through Europe and reaching South Asia.

There is a strange kind of awareness and awakening in the whole world. A world of fear and hope. There is also an unknown fear and a false hope. Earlier, it seemed that the world was devoid of ideas and deprived of leadership. But Iran’s 50-day resistance proved that a state is both ideological and economic and equipped with modern weapons technology. 47 years of sanctions have not paralyzed it but have kept it active and active. There has been a trend of research on Iran’s perseverance and resistance all over the world. It was through Al Jazeera’s broadcast that I came to know about a book “Iran and Economic War”. This book tells the reader that when sanctions are imposed on a society, a state is chained and an economy is put under arrest. What a price America had to pay for this.

How did this shorten Iran’s life span and what price the world had to pay for it. This is a permanent siege. I am going through its pages, its final chapter. Permanent siege. It tells with figures and facts that the results of these long sanctions will be what America expects. What will be the effects of such economic imprisonment and hardship on a nation's people? A century ago, Wilson said that these sanctions are tantamount to subjugating and strangling a nation. But no matter how painful this strangulation is. It creates a spirit of resistance in a nation. The results will not be what America expected, but what the world has been content with for this long period.

These words of the concluding paragraph of the book written in 2024 are being proven word by word today in April 2026. How ninety million Iranians learned to live under sanctions imposed for more than 40 years. Poverty, strife remained, but the quality of education did not decline, exports, imports, travel restrictions were all in their place. We had the opportunity to go to a book fair in Tehran during Mr. Ahmadinejad's time, and we observed how seminars were being held in Iranian universities, foreign researchers and guests were being hosted. The journey of research was ongoing. In 2008, we were shown films in a research institute that Iran is the first Islamic country to have created its own sheep through stem cells and cloning. The scholars have formally allowed this.

The ethics committee has imposed some restrictions on how the animals produced in this way will be kept separate from ordinary animals. The first sheep has grown up. It is living a happy life. Research in modern sciences and teaching in scientific sciences have progressed. Now that Iran has opened the Strait of Hormuz until the ceasefire in April 2026, giving the world a chance to breathe a sigh of relief. So the whole world, especially Muslim countries, should research these 45 years instead of avoiding Iran. Iqbal comes to mind.

I remember the path of the rich, not the poor

I remember the carpets of Iran earlier. Now the reference to Iran is ballistic missiles and drones. We who are afraid. We keep borrowing on loans at a time when we are about to set the table for negotiations again between two dynamic countries on the global horizon, the United States and Iran. Now, for us, not America, but Iran will be worthy of study and observation to see how it is possible to live with pride and honor under sanctions.
