Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to change the plan for the long march on September 27. According to party sources, the PTI parliamentary party has decided that the convoys leaving Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 27 will not go directly to Islamabad but will first reach Swabi via the motorway, after which the next stage will be decided according to the situation. Party sources say that on September 27, the PTI convoys will go to Swabi on the motorway and if the route is cleared, they will be sent towards Haripur. According to sources, after reviewing the situation on September 28, a decision will be made whether or not to take the convoys forward towards Islamabad. Party sources claimed that the Punjab leadership has also been requested to keep an eye on the movement in the parliamentary party meeting. Sources said that their position was that if party leaders and workers leave Punjab in large numbers, the long march will be possible. According to party sources, it was said in the meeting that if the demand for hearing the cases of the founder PTI on a daily basis is accepted, the long march will be called off. Sources further said that during the meeting, some parliamentarians termed the alleged arrest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in Lahore as a childish act. PTI has already announced a long march towards Islamabad on September 27, however, the above details regarding Swabi, Haripur and the next phase on September 28 have come to light from party sources.
