Peshawar: PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Secretary Shaukat Yousafzai declared postponing the long march a political strategy. He said that after the 18th Amendment, there can be no interference in the affairs of the provinces, the Police Act is the province's authority, they want the police to be independent, that is why they have enacted legislation. Shaukat Yousafzai said that PTI's demand is that the founder of PTI should be provided treatment in the light of court orders.
Earlier, YTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai denied the news of ending the long march and said that if the federal government negotiates, some decision regarding the long march will be taken. Maybe, in a conversation with a private TV news channel, Shaukat Yousafzai has not made any decision to end the long march, the PTI's preparations are complete, the long march will be peaceful and government resources will not be used. The PTI leader said that the federal government has violated the court decision by blocking the roads through containers.
